Our Team
Janet Pulley
President, Administrator, Preceptor, Instructor
Janet holds degrees in Health Care Administration and Accounting. She has worked in various positions in healthcare over the past 24 years, being a long term care administrator for over 16 years. She is highly experienced in formulating and implementing budget plans, analyzing financial goals and strategies, writing and negotiating contracts, hiring executive teams, developing policies, and developing professional standards of practice that govern operations. She has overseen operations of multiple facilities, providing overall guidance to the executive teams and hiring new executive administrators, conducting budgetary meetings and training sessions producing measurable and successful outcomes. She has worked with the Tennessee Department of Investigations as a consultant, providing insight and guidance into the rules and regulations that govern nursing facilities and administrators, for the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation investigators and attorneys at the Office of the Inspector General. She enjoys public speaking and conducts various interactive education sessions.
Beth Nelson
Executive Coach , Business Consultant, Instructor
Beth has post graduate degrees in Organizational Leadership, International Business, and Educational Psychology. She has been a professor at colleges in KY and WA as well as an executive coach and mental health counselor. Her extensive HR experience at Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL led to holding the SPHR certification for several years prior to her teaching experience. With her broad experience in business, Beth has worked with startups to large organizations to bring about higher productivity and employee satisfaction. In her spare time, Beth manages an alpaca farm and horse rescue.
Elaine Chamberlain
Interior Design and Property Acquisitions Specialist
Elaine has degrees in Marketing and Interior Design. She has worked on projects for housing, schools, churches and healthcare institutions. One of the most exciting projects was the Norton’s Oncology Suite at Baptist Hospital in Louisville, KY. Elaine and her family moved to Portland, TN in 2005 and she increased her skills with working with long term care facilities. Most recently, Elaine has added certified insurance agent and certified real estate agent to her impressive list of skills. She loves to design and decorate, especially for facilities with unique needs. She will be completing the final test for Certified Interior Design in 2024. In her spare time, Elaine likes to spend time with her family and being creative.
